Young Adults Environmental Leadership Program (YAELP)

The Young Adults Environmental Leadership Program (YAELP) provides youth aged 12-18 with training expertise and guidance in developing and implementing community environmental projects. The YAELP model is research based and is used in educational and business settings throughout the world. The Creative Problem Solving component employed at the YAELP has been developed at the International Center for Studies in Creativity at Buffalo State College.

"I have seen students generate ideas, zero in on projects, develop plans of actions, and see through to completion… Plans of Actions are great tools for the students to hold each other and themselves accountable."
